This Weaver’s Bench has 3 different woods used in the construction. It has a cherry top with spalted maple legs. Accents are walnut. Outside dimensions are 30 1/2″ long x 13 1/2″ wide x 20 1/2″ high. When the runway at Yeager Airport in Kanawha County was extended many poplar trees were bulldozed over. I obtained one and built this Buckboard Bench. A storm damaged tree removed from a golf course in Kanawha County provided the wood for this rocking chair. Quarter sawn sycamore is used for the frame of this custom designed rocking chair.
