One of my wife’s favorite pieces is a Journeyman’s Chest that I was required to make in woodworking school. It is poplar with pecan finish and rusted hardware. We use it as a coffee table.

My son attends lots of horse shows (eventing) and needed a trunk to store tack at his stall. It is constructed from poplar and measures 26″x34″x48″.  A Kreg Jig made quick work of construction.  The front panels are engraved images of my son and his horse. Not for Sale

My wife is a retired music teacher so I made her a music box that uses paper strips to play the music, just like a player piano. The works came from Music Makers I then made a smaller one for a client for his daughter’s birthday. Using a laser engraver, I made the sound hole from her initials.
